NEW: Barron Trump Reportedly ‘Missing’ From NYU Campus

Students have returned to college campuses this fall, but undergrads at New York University’s Stern School of Business say one special classmate is nowhere to be found: First Son Barron Trump.

“Missing” media reports are exploring the whereabouts of the youngest son of President Donald Trump. The 19-year-old, who was supposed to start his sophomore year, has gone off the radar in recent days, prompting public concern for his well-being.

Campus security confirmed to TOI that Barron has not been present on the main campus in Greenwich Village. However, the expansive school reaches beyond just one leafy enclave of the city.

With campuses in Downtown Brooklyn, Shanghai, and Dubai, the Stern School of Business offers its students the chance to study in far-flung places around the world, hobnobbing with rich and powerful businessmen all too eager to impart their life lessons on burgeoning young minds.

It’s uncommon for sophomores to study abroad, but Barron’s unique circumstances and security needs may place him in a position to qualify for an advanced trip.

Officials from both NYU and the Trump family declined to give specifics but confirmed that Barron is “doing a semester at another NYU campus.”

As the only son of Trump and Melania, the 6’9″ teenager has been in the public eye for most of his life. He has cultivated a public image as a polite and thoughtful offspring of his father, and he won plaudits for encouraging the Trump campaign to focus on Gen Z voters with its outreach to new media journalists and podcasts.

Barron has toyed with the possibility of entering the family businesses of politics or real estate, but Melania has been especially guarded about her son, giving him the chance to pursue his own education and path in life.

The TOI reported that Barron reportedly spent his summer with his head down, studiously engaged in learning the minutiae of business planning. Sources told the outlet that he joined other Trump family members on trips and in meetings about ventures aimed at growing the family’s wealth.

Melania has also shielded Barron from the possibility of bullying, insisting he spend his freshman year living in Trump Tower rather than the dorms.

He also has to contend with the reality of being stalked by obsessed fans. The U.S. Secret Service is reportedly investigating a 19-year-old Brazilian national who runs a fan page dedicated to Barron and which boasts nearly half a million followers.

She told the Daily Mail recently that friends of the family have reached out to learn more about her and whether she poses a threat to Barron.
