NEW: Democrat Eyeing 2028 WH Bid Caught Red-Handed In Huge Lie
Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) — who is mulling a potential White House bid in 2028 — was called out and exposed for pushing a false narrative concerning the recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid on Glass House Farms. According to Gallego, President Donald Trump’s ICE targeted families that were “picking our food” and have been doing so for years.
But Gallego’s claims about the situation were quickly refuted, as the crop the farm grows is marijuana, not edible produce. The individual that Gallego reposted on X made a similar statement, claiming ICE is arresting “assets,” and not threats to national security.
Federal agents conducted two raids on cannabis farms located in Ventura County. At both locations, violent left-wing protesters showed up on the scene and began to assault ICE agents. Protesters chucked rocks at their vehicles, while one individual brandished a firearm and opened fire on authorities.
Not long after that, liberals began to say the feds involved in these operations were detaining illegal aliens who worked on the pot farms, who, according to them, are “the backbone of our food chain.”
“ICE just swarmed Ventura County fields, hauling away the very farm workers who keep America’s produce aisles stocked,” left-wing political commentator Brian Allen wrote on X. “We’re arresting assets; treating the backbone of our food chain like a threat. That’s not ‘border security.’ That’s self-sabotage in uniform.”
Gallego then shared Allen’s post and video, saying, “Instead of prioritizing dangerous criminals Trump is targeting families that have been here for years picking our food. The public outcry and protests are occuring because the American public knows this is wrong.”
In his own repost, Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) made the claim that federal agents were arresting illegals who were picking strawberries.
“How many MS-13 gang members are waking up at 3 a.m. to pick strawberries? O’yeah, zero!” Gomez responded in his post. “Trump said he’d go after ‘bad hombres,’ but he’s targeting the immigrant farm workers who feed America. Either he lied — or he can’t tell the difference.”
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) put President Donald Trump on blast following the raids, saying, “Kids running from tear gas, crying on the phone because their mother was just taken from the fields. Trump calls me ‘Newscum’ — but he’s the real scum.”
