NEW: Dems’ Trump Hoax Crumbles After Bill Clinton Is Named In Epstein ‘Birthday Album’
An August recess by Congress was supposed to be a prime opportunity for Democrats to hold President Donald Trump’s feet to the fire after it was reported that he allegedly wrote a lewd birthday message to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003.
Those plans became muddled, however, when it was reported on Thursday that former President Bill Clinton also allegedly contributed to the “leather-bound book” of best wishes.
Dozens of friends and associates of the disgraced financier and pedophile compiled their congratulations for Epstein’s 50th birthday, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. One contributor is said to be Clinton, already known for his closeness to Epstein before breaking off their friendship following his 2007 conviction for underage prostitution.
On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal named Clinton and other contributors to the birthday book, including Wall Street billionaire Leon Black, fashion designer Vera Wang, media owner Mort Zuckerman, and billionaire and former Microsoft executive Nathan Myhrvold.
One week earlier, the WSJ drew sharp condemnation — and a lawsuit by Trump — for its reporting about a crudely drawn nude woman and lascivious imagined conversation between him and Epstein. The original story served to rally MAGA faithful, who dismissed its contents as false or misleading, with Trump claiming he had not authored the letter.
The book was said to be compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s mistress, who was reportedly “keen” to have Clinton included.
A congratulatory message contains Clinton’s “distinctive scrawl” and praises Epstein for his “childlike curiosity.”
“It’s reassuring isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends,” Clinton’s letter allegedly reads.

A spokesperson for the 42nd president declined to comment and referred the Daily Caller back to a statement made following Epstein’s second arrest on sex-trafficking charges in 2019.
Clinton “knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York,” the statement said.
Messages in the book ranged from earnest well-wishes to randy reminders of the perverted life Epstein lived.
Myhrvold, the former Microsoft executive, allegedly added to the book several photos from a recent trip to Africa, which showed monkeys mating and the erect penis of a zebra.
“They seemed more appropriate than anything I could put in words,” his letter allegedly states.
A spokesman for Myhrvold said he couldn’t recall the specifics of any message left for Epstein, but noted that he “regularly shares photos of and writes about animal behavior.”
