NEW: ICE Raid Leakers Identified, Will Face Prosecution

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed Wednesday that the individuals who were leaking sensitive details about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting violent illegal aliens have been identified and will face criminal prosecution.

“Are we finding the people that are tipping off and putting ICE agents’ lives in dangers, tipping off the people that you’re going to raid?” Noem was asked by Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“I have a couple of them identified that are within DHS,” Noem replied. “And when I’m able to reveal that with the evidence, I’m going to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, and I’m going to make an example out of them. And just on the way here, I got another notification of another leak. And I can’t do anything without it getting leaked, and that’s why we have to have so many ops all over the country all the time that it doesn’t slow us down.”

The DHS secretary went on to state that increasing the administration’s deportation numbers is a top priority, as the current pace hovers just over 30,000 a month. For comparison, an estimated 10 million illegal aliens entered the United States during the Biden Administration alone.

“We just don’t have time to sit around, and we have to do everything we can every single day because we might have another Laken Riley tomorrow and wish we would have pushed harder and wish we would have done more,” she continued. “So these leakers, boy, they better watch out because we are putting just as equal effort into identifying them as we are these criminals that are out there raping and murdering people. As far as I’m concerned, these leakers are more dangerous because it’s a complete disregard for our law enforcement officers that are out there.”

Border Czar Tom Homan during his tenure as ICE Director

Last month, the Los Angeles Times reported on intricate details of an upcoming ICE raid in the Los Angeles area that was set to target violent criminals. Border czar Tom Homan was incensed over the news, stating that he was already working to identify the leakers and had no choice but to call off the raid due to security threats.

Homan reported that he had been in contact with the Department of Justice and suggested that the leakers would not only lose their jobs and pensions, but face criminal prosecution. “They have promised that not only will this person lose their job and lose their pension, they’re going to go to jail. They will criminally prosecute,” the border czar said.

Reports have indicated that a rogue FBI agent may have been responsible for the leaks. “The FBI is so corrupt,” Noem said in response to the leak at the time. “We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law.”
