New Jan 6 Footage Shows Capitol Police Shaking Hands With Protesters, Directing Them

Never before seen footage from the January 6 Capitol protests shows Capitol Police officers shaking hands with peaceful protesters and directing them around the building.

On Friday, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) released roughly 90 hours of the highly anticipated January 6 footage. While thousands of hours of footage remain unseen, Johnson has pledged to release all of the footage in the coming weeks and months.

House Republicans have staggered the release in order to blur visible faces in order to prevent pro regime groups such as the “Sedition Hunters” identifying more trespassers.

In the latest batch of footage, protesters can be seen peacefully walking around the building shortly after they were ushered in by Capitol police. A group of officers can be seen standing idly be and having a conversation as Trump supporters strolled by.

Additional footage highlights the overwhelmingly peaceful nature of the protests, presenting a stark contrast to the dark “insurrection” narrative pushed by the far-left and the Biden DOJ.

In one clip, a Capitol Police officer can be seen placing his hand on a protester’s shoulder while pointing him in the direction of the Senate chambers.

Dozens of protesters have been sentenced to federal prison for glorified trespassing charges such as “obstruction of an official proceeding” or “parading or picketing on Capitol grounds.”
