Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, unloaded on the Supreme Court after it temporarily upheld Texas’ newly redrawn congressional maps, cursing the justices in a profanity-laced online rant over a decision that could reshape the 2026 midterms.

In a video posted Sunday to her YouTube account, Crockett accused President Donald Trump and Republicans of trying to “rig the system” through redistricting and aimed her fury squarely at the nation’s highest court.

“Obviously, Trump is still doing his bidding with these state Houses and state Senates and governor’s mansions to try to rig the system,” Crockett said. “Kudos to Indiana for saying f— you. Kudos to California for saying we’re going to fight back.”

She went even further moments later.

“Definitely kudos to the Trump justice who wrote the 160-page opinion denouncing what took place in Texas and f— you to the Supreme Court for what they did as well as, you know, we’ll see what happens in some other places,” Crockett said.

The Supreme Court in December ordered that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s new congressional districts remain in place ahead of the 2026 elections. The maps are expected to net Republicans as many as five additional House seats.

The redistricting plan also moves Crockett out of her current district, a shift that appears to have accelerated her decision to launch a U.S. Senate bid shortly after the ruling.

Democratic leaders in other states have responded aggressively. California Gov. Gavin Newsom pushed a November ballot initiative aimed at creating five additional Democratic-leaning districts, while Indiana’s Republican-led Senate rejected a proposal that would have added two more GOP seats.

During her video, Jasmine Crockett also renewed calls to overhaul the Supreme Court, citing her role on the Court Reform Now Task Force in 2024 and advocating measures such as term limits and court expansion.

“I just feel like there are certain spots on the Supreme Court that were illegitimately gotten for sure,” Crockett said. “So, I think if we’re going to shore up our democracy, we have to first start by shoring up the checks and balances. And so, that starts with the Supreme Court.”
