NEW: Lipreader Reveals What Trump Said To Musk During Reunion At Charlie Kirk Memorial
Elon Musk and President Donald Trump had their first face-to-face meeting in months, one that might spark a reignited friendship following a dramatic fizzling out.
After working together to win the 2024 election, both men seemed destined to run the federal government together. They shared stages and cabinet meetings as Musk promised to unleash the newly created U.S. Department of Government Efficiency on a litany of waste, fraud, and abuse inside the federal bureaucracy.
The president, aware of how popular Musk’s mandate was with his MAGA base, was all too happy to oblige.
But a private rift over Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill and the size of the national debt became a very messy and public disagreement that culminated in Musk leaving the administration and firing off criticisms of Trump on social media. The White House responded by leaking stories about Musk’s use of ketamine and other drugs while in the government.
On Sunday, both men smiled and looked past all that, promising to align forces again “for Charlie,” according to a lipreader who thinks she knows what was said at the Glendale, Arizona rally.
Between their speeches, camera shots showed Trump and Musk sitting in a private box at the sports stadium, where they shook hands and had a brief private conversation.
While clapping, Trump tapped Musk on the knee and said “All good,” Nicola Hickling, the founder of LipReader, told the Irish Star US.
Hickling claimed that Trump leaned in to ask Musk, “How are you doing?” before adding, “So Elon, I’ve heard you wanted to chat…”
When UFC CEO Dana White chimed in on the conversation, Trump allegedly replied, “Let’s try and work out how to get back on track. I’ve missed you.”
“Trump then leaned in and said, ‘I think we should stop this and say something now,'” Hickling said.
“Donald turns to Dana and says, ‘Did you know about this?'” she added.
After the event, Musk posted a photo next to Trump captioned “For Charlie.”

Sunday’s funeral for Kirk marked the first public appearance by both men at the same location since May 30, the Mirror reported. Within days of leaving his post as a special government employee, Musk was attacking Trump and his signature economic legislation for its hefty price tag.
But on Sunday, all of the focus was on Kirk, 31, and his wife Erika, who has taken over as CEO of Turning Point USA, the conservative youth organization he founded.
Trump praised Kirk for how he “inspired millions” and called him a “patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate.”
