NEW: Photo Reveals Anti-ICE Messages On Shell Casings From Dallas Shooting
A new photo released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation related to a deadly shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas, reveals anti-ICE messages were scrawled on shell casings meant to take out agents.
Early on Wednesday morning, a lone gunman opened fire on an ICE facility, with the messages on the shell casings explaining why their place of work was under fire. The gunman, described in initial reports as a white male, shot himself after officers responding to the incident confronted him.

According to ICE Director Todd Lyons, the shooter used a sniper rifle to attack the facility. During a press conference, FBI Special Agent in Charge R. Joseph Rothrock stated that the detention center, located in Dallas, Texas, was likely targeted due to the suspect’s hatred for ICE and their mission to enforce immigration laws.
“What I can also tell you is that early evidence that we’ve seen from rounds that were found near the suspected shooter contain messages that are anti-ICE in nature,” he told reporters. The incident at the Dallas facility is the second in Texas this year.
On July 4, a group of angry individuals stormed an ICE facility located near Fort Worth. One employee was injured in the neck as a result of the assault. A total of a dozen suspects were then arrested in connection with the attack.
“This is just the most recent example of this type of attack,” Rothrock said.
Earlier in the day, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem took to X and posted that the shooting resulted in “multiple injuries and fatalities,” confirming the shooter took his own life. Reports emerged later that at least one person was dead and three others wounded.
“While we don’t know the motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop,” Noem stated. “Please pray for the victims and their families.”
Another gunman was shot and killed this year after he stormed the offices of the U.S. Border Patrol. President Donald Trump, along with a variety of immigration authorities, has leveled accusations at Democratic politicians for inciting violence against ICE officers by calling them Nazis and “Gestapo” soldiers.
Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said back in July, “You impede a federal ICE officer, you’re going to jail,” after DHS revealed a 700 percent increase in threats against ICE agents.
“You put hands on an officer, you’re going to jail. You knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien, you’re going to jail. You throw a rock at an ICE officer, you’re going to jail. You damage a government vehicle, you’re going to jail. This s**t stops now.”
“I said, if the rhetoric continues against ICE officers in the Border Patrol, there will there will be bloodshed.” Homan continued. “When you got senators and congressmen comparing ICE to Nazis, racists, Gestapo. It’s just never-ending, and when an average citizen hears that kind of language from a member of Congress, they feel, you know, the nuts on the left… they feel emboldened.”
