Nikki Haley Relentlessly Mocked For Winning ‘Most Corrupt’ Primary

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley finally managed to score a primary victory over the weekend, defeating former President Trump by a large margin in the District of Columbia. However, even Trump and his supporters are embracing the defeat, with many arguing that the results are quite telling for Haley.

In D.C., where just 5% of the electorate are registered Republicans, Haley won 62.8% of the vote to Trump’s 33.3%, a stark contrast to her lagging finishes in each of the states where primaries have already been held.

Users on X have pointed out the liberal nature of D.C., which Trump first dubbed “The Swamp” during his 2016 campaign, to explain Haley’s dominant showing.

“Of course she won DC…. Tells you everything you need to know!” wrote conservative talkshow host Graham Allen.

Another user going by the name “Jack Danger” called D.C. the “dirtiest, most corrupt place in the country.”

“Shocker!” he humorously added.

But it didn’t end there for Haley. Scores of Trump supporters, including his campaign’s national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, continued to rain on the former governor’s parade.

“While Nikki [Haley] has been soundly rejected throughout the rest of America, she was just crowned Queen of the Swamp by the lobbyists and DC insiders […] The swamp has claimed their queen,” Leavitt wrote in a press release.

Commentator Glenn Greenwald also chimed in, calling Haley’s celebration of the victory “so hilarious and perfect.”

With Super Tuesday coming tomorrow, Haley’s campaign is on its last legs, and according to rumors reported by Fox News, her operation has allegedly already begun canceling advertising spends and public appearances.

“There was some reporting over the weekend on Sunday that Nikki Haley may or may not have any ads past yesterday or today. And that she may or may not have any appearances past today, this Monday,” said Fox News host Bill Hemmer before turning to his co-host, Bret Baier. “Bret, you’ve been following that. Can you confirm any of that?”

Baier confirmed that he had heard similar reports. “I haven’t talked to anybody on the campaign beyond, you know, some people tied to it tangentially. If that’s the case and holds to be true, that’s very telling,” he said.

“Her only win so far is the D.C. primary, and you look at the map and look at the polls, and it’s tough to see a breakthrough any place on Super Tuesday despite the fact that 11 out of 15 states are open primaries where Democrats and Independents can vote,” Baier continued. “But that’s a telltale sign. We saw that from Ron Desantis, too, after Iowa.”
