Nikki Haley Was Visibly Angry After Being Trolled By A Trump Supporter
While speaking with supporters on the eve of New Hampshire’s Republican primary, Nikki Haley became visibly irritated after she was trolled by a Trump supporter.
“Will you marry me?” a man in the crowd could be heard yelling. “Are you gonna vote for me? Haley shot back with a laugh.
“No, I’m voting for Trump,” the man replied. “Awh, get out of here,” an annoyed Haley then responded. She proceeded to wave the man off as security presumably escorted him out of the venue.
The New Hampshire primary has largely been viewed as a make-or-break race for Haley, who has secured an endorsement from New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu and devoted significant time and resources in the state.
Despite her efforts, former President Donald Trump has maintained a sizable polling average in the Granite State. According to the Real Clear Politics polling average, the former president maintains a +18 advantage ahead of Tuesday’s primary.
The gap could be even wider given the exit of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis from the race, who dropped out on Sunday after the polls had already been conducted. DeSantis immediately honored his pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee and endorsed Trump in his concession speech. “Now, it’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance. They watch his presidency get stymied by relentless resistance and they see Democrats using lawfare this day to attack him,” he said.
DeSantis also took aim at Haley, referring to her as “the Republican guard of yesteryear,” adding that she represents “repackaged form of warmed over corporatism.”
Trump has also picked up an endorsement from businessman Vivek Ramaswamy following his massive win in the Iowa Caucuses, further narrowing down potential alternatives and likely growing his support in New Hampshire.
