‘Not Afraid’: Karoline Leavitt Hints At Trump’s Next Move In Israel-Iran Conflict

President Donald Trump had a message for the press on Thursday, which was delivered by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, concerning what his next move will be in the increasingly violent conflict between Israel and Iran.

According to Leavitt, Trump stated that he would decide whether the U.S. would get involved in the war between the Middle East nations sometime in the “next two weeks.” The reason for the delay is that the president remains hopeful about negotiations for peace.

“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” Leavitt said during her press briefing.

The New York Post reported on Wednesday that Trump expressed the Iranians’ desire to meet with him at the White House.

“If there’s a chance for diplomacy, he’s not afraid to grab it,” Leavitt further explained. However, in order for a deal to be reached, Iran would have to agree to stop enriching uranium.

Many Americans feel the United States should not get directly involved in yet another foreign war, especially one in the Middle East, especially with Israel doing a stellar job of striking at the heart of Iran’s nuclear program.

Fox News is reporting that experts who are tracking the conflict have said the Jewish State’s military campaign in Iran has produced “enormous achievements.”

Mark Dubowitz, the CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, referred to the progress being made as “a resounding military win.”

“They’ve actually dominated the Iranian military,” Dubowitz said during an interview with Fox News Digital. “They’ve taken out many senior military leaders, the Iranian Air Force, and a significant percentage of missile launchers and ballistic inventory.”

While that is true, Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes have also taken a toll on Israel. On Thursday morning, a missile struck the Soroka Medical Center located in Beersheba. Iran also targeted several other major cities in the country, leaving hundreds injured.

Israel might be incurring some heavy losses, but military experts say that the Israel Defense Forces are continuing to hold the upper hand over the Iranians, both in a strategic and tactical capacity.

Durowitz then said, “It’s starting to look like 1967, when the Israelis eviscerated five Arab armies. It may take longer than six days, but they’re certainly on that trajectory.”
