‘OBAMA KNEW’: Karoline Leavitt Publicly Exposes Obama
Washington, D.C., was captivated on Wednesday as the White House briefing room quickly devolved into a sparring match between former presidents, with Karoline Leavitt accusing former President Barack Obama of allowing the U.S. intelligence community to smear her boss.
“The truth is that President Trump never had anything to do with Russia, and the Russia collusion hoax was a massive fraud perpetuated on the American people from the very beginning,” she thundered. “And the worst part of this is Obama knew that truth, and so did all of the other corrupt officials involved in this scam.”
Pointing to former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former FBI Director James Comey, and other Obama alums, Leavitt thanked Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, for confirming “what we already knew.”
“There was no collusion, no corruption, except on behalf of Barack Obama,” she asserted.
Minutes later, Gabbard announced that her office had referred the Democratic president to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi for criminal prosecution. She teed up the news by releasing a 46-page document alleging that Obama and his top officials fabricated its report on the Russiagate scandal out of whole cloth.
“The Russian hoax was a blatant lie, ginned up by Democratic political operatives, all signed off on by then-President Obama,” Leavitt continued, “and leaked to the news media to launch a yearslong witch hunt against President Trump.”
As a result of the conspiracy by Obama, Hillary Clinton, and top officials, “lives were destroyed,” Leavitt stated.
“Nearly 10 years later, thanks to Director Gabbard, the truth has now come to light.”

Gabbard, speaking afterward, refuted a claim from the Obama camp on Tuesday that the Russiagate disclosures only serve as a “distraction” from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, calling it a “contrived narrative” that Trump is pursuing a far-fetched conspiracy.
“There is irrefutable evidence that details how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false,” Gabbard said. “They knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true. It wasn’t.”
Asked by a reporter if her remarks meant Gabbard was referring Obama for prosecution, she replied simply, “That’s correct.”
“The evidence we’ve found and released directly point to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment [of Trump-Russia],” she said.
Wednesday’s announcement comes on the heels of a joint effort by the CIA, FBI, and other U.S. intelligence services to explore charges against Brennan, whom Gabbard accused of manipulating the Russiagate investigation by demanding the inclusion of the discredited Steele dossier in a final report.
She also pointed to the withholding of a Presidential Daily Briefing in December 2019, just over a month after Trump won his election. The report stated that U.S. intelligence sources concluded that Russia played little or no role in the outcome of the race.
Instead, Obama aides struck the document from the PDB, which would have been sent to Trump as the president-elect.
