Obama’s WH Doctor Demands Biden Take A Drug Test Pre-Debate: ‘Embarrassing’

Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician under former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, has publicly demanded that President Joe Biden, 81, submit to a drug test prior to the upcoming presidential debate against Trump. The debate, scheduled for Thursday night in Atlanta, marks a critical juncture in the tightly contested 2024 presidential race, with Election Day looming on November 5.

Dr. Jackson, who has previously voiced concerns about President Biden’s cognitive abilities, vented his frustrations over the lack of response to his requests for cognitive testing similar to that undertaken by President Trump during his tenure. “I have sent five letters previously asking for President Biden to submit to a cognitive test, very similar to the one that President Trump got while he was president. And all five of those letters have gone completely ignored,” he revealed to Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo.

“It’s really embarrassing as a former White House physician to have to do something like this. But we don’t have any choice based on what’s going on.” He plans to send a new letter directly to President Biden’s physician, Dr. O’Connor, and to copy the entire Cabinet.

The demand stems from observations made during President Biden’s recent State of the Union address, where Dr. Jackson noted a significant disparity in the President’s demeanor compared to his usual public appearances over the last three and a half years. “There was a Joe Biden that came out that was not similar at all to what we see on a day-to-day basis… And there’s really no way to explain that other than he was on something,” Dr. Jackson speculated.

The Bidens, along with the President’s close advisors, have moved to Camp David, the private Maryland retreat, for focused preparation sessions ahead of the crucial first of two debates for the 2024 election. Dr. Jackson suggested that the President’s week-long stay at Camp David prior to the debate might involve adjusting medications to enhance cognitive performance and alertness.

“Part of that is probably experimenting with just getting the doses just right, because they have to treat his cognition, they have to give him something to help him think straighter, they have to give him something to wake him up for his alertness,” he said.

Jackson served under Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump as White House physician. His tenure as the chief White House doctor was marked by his high-profile role in the medical examinations of the presidents he served, particularly the press conference he held regarding President Trump’s health in 2018.

Jackson is also a retired rear admiral in the U.S. Navy. After his service in the White House, he transitioned into politics and was elected as a U.S. Representative for Texas’s 13th congressional district. His political career has been aligned with President Trump, and he has been involved in various legislative activities since taking office.
