Parents Refused Sexual Advances Of Female Social Worker; Here’s What She Did To Their Kids
There have been some truly horrific stories of abuse of authority that have come out of social workers dealing with children, but what we’re hearing out of Colorado involving a female in the field is definitely one of the most disturbing.
Apparently, according to a report from TheBlaze, Robin Niceta, a former social worker in Colorado, has now been accused of abusing her position by making false accusations in order to separate kids from their parents. A lawsuit was filed against Niceta by Aurora councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky on Wednesday.
The lawsuit goes on to say, “During the course and scope of her former employment with Defendant ACDHS, Defendant Niceta baselessly, falsely, and unconstitutionally separated or attempted to separate children from their parents or caretakers.”
TheBlaze reported that Niceta was accused by parents of making unwanted sexual advances toward the mothers and female guardians of cases she was actively investigating. When these women would reject her, the social worker would then make unfounded claims with the goal in mind of permanently separating parents from their kids.
Here’s more information on this case from the report:
In May, the woman resigned from her position with the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services. Her former romantic partner, Aurora police Chief Vanessa Wilson, was fired in April after an investigation following the death of Elijah McClain.
In addition to alleged inappropriate sexual conduct, the lawsuit also accused Niceta of falsifying abuse or neglect complaints, introducing false testimony, and introducing false and fabricated evidence.
Jurinsky filed the lawsuit against Niceta after the social worker incorrectly accused the councilwoman of child sexual abuse, KUSA reported. Niceta called in the false tip to authorities one day after Jurinsky made negative remarks about Niceta’s former partner, Wilson, during a radio interview.
The DHS looked into the claims made by Niceta and discovered that Jurinsky was innocent of the accusations. Along with the lawsuit, Niceta is also looking at criminal charges due to her false testimony.
Good. This lady is out of her gourd and is clearly a sexual predator who needs to be locked away from society. Hopefully, the justice system will work rightly and swiftly to punish her and ensure that she receives justice and her victims get the closure they deserve.
Jurinsky then stated that more than 40 people were impacted by the baseless accusations that Niceta made. The lawsuit has now requested class-action status due to the number of victims.
The case went on to say, “dozens, if not hundreds (or more), of Arapahoe County families have been torn apart, sometimes permanently, on the basis of constitutionally improper investigations, false sworn testimony by Arapahoe County employees, fabricated evidence introduced by Arapahoe County employees in both investigatory and judicial proceedings, and a downright inexplicable, unfounded, and unjust desire to separate or attempt to separate children from their parents or other caretakers.”
The lawyer who prepared the lawsuit against Niceta, Elliot Singer, conducted an interview with the Gazette saying, “So far, several parents have come forward to let us know that they also had their children taken away from them as a result of Robin Niceta’s actions related to their cases whether by what they believe to be false testimony during court or what they believe to be false reports.”
And this isn’t the only lawsuit Niceta is facing at the moment either. Another one was filed by a family in Colorado that is accusing her of stripping a child from their custody “based only on deliberate cultural assumptions and bias.”
The Gazette then revealed in their report that Niceta is believed to also be under investigation by the FBI. When the FBI Denver office was asked for confirmation about this, they simply stated, “Except in rare circumstances, the FBI cannot confirm or deny the existence of an investigation.”
