NEW: Patel, Bongino Stun Americans With Definitive Answer On Epstein Murder Theory

Suspicions about Jeffrey Epstein’s death should finally be put to rest, according to FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino.

Both men said without equivocation that their time atop the Bureau has given them an expansive view of the government’s handling of the case, which became an international embarrassment after the pedophile philanthropist was found dead in his jail cell while awaiting charges on underage sex trafficking.

Appearing on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, the two top law enforcement officials said the results of their investigation revealed that Epstein did indeed commit suicide by fashioning a noose out of his bedsheet and hanging himself when a guard left his post.

“You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. People don’t believe it,” Bartiromo said, echoing the long-held theory that powerful forces, perhaps within the Democratic Party who Epstein raised money for, including the Clintons, orchestrated Epstein’s assassination.

Patel responded authoritatively, “They have a right to their opinion. But as someone who’s been a public defender, a prosecutor, who’s worked in that prison system and been inside segregated housing — you know a suicide when you see one. And that’s what that was.”

Bongino, a former U.S. Secret Service agent, stepped in to back up his boss.

“He killed himself,” Bongino said flatly. “Again, you want me to—I’ve seen the whole file. He killed himself.”

The duo’s statements are the clearest indication yet that the Trump administration hopes to put to rest for good the notion that a cabal of powerful global leaders conspired to kill Epstein out of fear of what he might say if brought to trial. The child predator swam in elite circles and regularly hosted former President Bill Clinton and members of the British Royal Family at his compound in the U.S. Virgin Islands, site of his most horrific crimes.

Earlier this month, Patel moved to release a second batch of previously undisclosed documents about the government’s investigation into Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 and charged with sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit trafficking. It was Epstein’s second arrest since he was convicted in 2006 on soliciting underage prostitution.

Despite the charge, powerful and high net worth individuals such as Bill Gates continued to seek out Epstein for his largesse and influence. The Microsoft founder later said he deeply regretted forging a close relationship with Epstein while his ex-wife, Melinda Gates, has hinted that Bill’s relationship with Epstein contributed to the dissolution of their marriage.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s mistress who recruited and groomed young girls for his pleasure, is currently serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted in 2021 on crimes including sex trafficking of a minor, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, and transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.

An exact number of girls abused by Epstein and Maxwell may never be known, but what’s clear is that they continue to suffer decades after their abuse. Virginia Giuffre recently took her own life after suffering a life-threatening car crash; she had insisted for years that Prince Andrew joined Epstein in abusing her in the Virgin Islands. The Royal Family member has denied the allegation.
