“Personal Gestapo”: New Poll Shows What Americans Really Think about Biden’s FBI
What do Americans think of the FBI now that it is being run by Team Biden?
Well, there are still a few people that still, incredibly, “back the blue” in the case of federal cops and support the FBI jackboots in windbreakers that raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in what looks like a clear attempt to either intimidate Trump, the political opposition, or to recover potentially embarrassing documents about the Russia Hoax and the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Operation.
A majority of Americans, however, hold no such pro-FBI feelings. In fact, according to a recent poll, a whopping 53% of America views the FBI not as America’s “premier law enforcement agency,” which is what it used to be known as, but rather as “Biden’s personal Gestapo.”
Specifically, the Rasmussen Reports survey of 1,000 likely voters conducted on Monday and Tuesday following the FBI’s August 8th raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, found that 53% of those likely voters agree with the statement, “There is a group of politicized thugs at the top of the FBI who are using the FBI … as Joe Biden’s personal Gestapo.”
And not only did over half of America generally agree with the statement, but that majority includes the 34% of the polled likely voters who “strongly agree” with the claim that the FBI is Biden’s personal Gestapo.
Further, the number of Americans believe that has been ticking up. As of December, only 46% of Americans agreed with the statement, whereas now over half do.
Included among that new majority are the 76% of Republicans who agree with the statement and 49% of Independents who agree, along with even a few Democrats. In fact, only 57% of Democrats disagree and 38% of Independents disagreed with the statement.
And that was just the beginning of the bad news for the FBI, or perhaps we should call it Biden’s personal Gestapo, in the poll. In addition to the “personal Gestapo” bit, the poll found that the faith Americans have in the FBI has been plummeting.
Two numbers should be particularly worrisome to the windbreaker-clad jackboots: 44 percent of those likely voters polled say that they trust the FBI less following the Mar-a-Lago raid and now a whopping 46 percent of those polled say they view the agency negatively.
So about 7 percent must be happy that the FBI has turned into Brandon’s personal Gestapo, but, other than that, things look bad for the FBI and are getting worse as more and more Americans wake up to the fact that it’s just another collection of Deep State hacks.
And the poll is bad for Biden and the Democrats too, particularly given the lack of transparency surrounding the raid, as Rasmussen Reports tweeted about, saying:
Slouching Towards Midterms …
Based on our new polling released today these transparency delays on the origin causes of the Mar-a-Lago Raid will increase Biden administration distrust and hurt Democrats national chances in November.
So no wonder Hunter remains free to roam around doing God knows what: the agency that should be holding him accountable is Brandon’s Gestapo now.
