POETIC JUSTICE: Trump Cruises To Victory In Colorado After Attempt To Remove Him From Ballot
Former President Donald Trump has won Colorado’s Republican primary just one day after the Supreme Court struck down leftist efforts to expel Trump from the ballot.
The victory presents another humiliating blow for Colorado’s Democrat Secretary of State Jena Griswold, who led the effort to expel Trump from the ballot. “It’s concerning that federal candidates, at this point, can engage in insurrection and then face no accountability for ballot access,” Griswold told Politico after the Supreme Court unanimously reversed the Colorado court’s ruling.
Colorado became the first state to remove Trump from the ballot following a favorable ruling from the state’s Democrat-controlled Supreme Court. Since then, Democrat Secretary of State Shenna Bellows has removed Trump from the ballot in Maine, while a Chicago area judge recently disqualified the former president from Illinois’ primary ballot.
Trump’s victory in Colorado follows previous Super Tuesday wins in Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Maine, Arkansas, North Carolina and Virginia.
