Pollster Frank Luntz Melts Down, Angrily Admits Democrats Are ‘Going To Elect Trump’

In a message to Democrats, pollster Frank Luntz gave a stark warning to CNN viewers for the 2024 presidential race: efforts to legally besiege former President Donald Trump could inadvertently fortify his bid for the White House.

Luntz went on to criticize the moves made by the New York Attorney General’s office against the former president, warning that such actions would inadvertently pave Trump’s path back to the White House.

The warning stems from Letitia James’ recent steps to seize Trump’s properties, including his prized golf course and private estate at Seven Springs, north of Manhattan. The aggressive legal maneuver comes on the heels of the landmark $464 million judgment against Trump, his family, and the Trump Organization by Judge Arthur Engoron.

The legal judgments filed in Westchester County are seen as the first steps in enforcing Engoron’s decision, which not only levies a significant financial blow against Trump but also aims to tarnish his image and hopes for presidency. The judgments are a critical development as Trump grapples with securing a bond for his appeal, all while attempting to drum up funds for his legal battles and a third presidential run.

“I want you to remember this moment, and don’t forget it. If the New York Attorney General starts to seize his assets… You’re going to create the greatest victimhood of 2024. And you’re going to elect Donald Trump,” Luntz explained.

Luntz elaborated on his belief that such actions would validate Trump’s longstanding belief of being targeted by a politicized justice system, thereby boosting his popularity among voters.

The pollster’s criticism extended beyond the immediate legal skirmishes, touching on the implications for the 2024 presidential race. “His [Trump’s] numbers went up in both states. I don’t understand. I’m almost speechless in how pathetic the opposition to Trump has been and how completely misguided,” Luntz ranted.

“How is Donald Trump beating Joe Biden? He’s got 85 indictments that still exist, felonies. How is he beating Joe Biden with the economy getting better and things cleaning up?… Trump is leading, and in the seven swing states, Trump is up by the margin of error in five out of seven. Why is that happening? Because his critics are stupid and they’re running a horrible campaign,” he claimed.

As Trumps navigates securing a bond, a judgment entry is typically the initial step a creditor takes in the process of property recovery. Following this, further measures may include placing liens on assets, initiating foreclosure proceedings on properties, or pursuing additional legal actions to seize an asset.

In New York City, judgments have been entered against properties owned by Trump, inlcuding Trump Tower, his Trump Tower penthouse, 40 Wall Street, his Central Park-adjacent hotel, and various apartment complexes.

In Florida’s Miami and Palm Beach counties—home to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and the Trump National Doral Golf Club and resort—no such judgments have been filed. Similarly, no judgments have been recorded in Cook County, Illinois, where Trump’s Chicago hotel is situated, a CNN review of records confirmed on Thursday.
