On Monday, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe was forced out of his own company after ongoing issues with the board of directors.

In a 45 minute farewell speech, O’Keefe detailed to his staff how the board of directors conspired to oust him from the very company he founded.

The board of directors seemed to greatly miscalculate the negative reaction they would get from the public by removing O’Keefe.

In just 5 hours since O’Keefe’s forced resignation was made public, Project Veritas has lost 100,000 followers on Twitter.

O’Keefe’s “farewell speech” to Project Veritas was released online earlier today, and it gives us a glimpse into exactly what happened between O’Keefe and the board at Project Veritas.

“A former board member told me 10 years ago, Project Veritas will never be stopped from the outside. It will only be because we stopped ourselves… We find ourselves in that situation today, where I have been stripped of my authority as CEO and removed from the board.” said O’Keefe, making the stunning admission.

O’Keefe also suggested that he would start a new venture, saying he’s “not done” and that his next venture will “take on a new name”.

At another point in the video, O’Keefe explains the events that led to being forced out of his position. O’Keefe revealed that he fired a member of the board who disagreed with him about fundraising and that they tried to fire him while he was on a plane to Nashville.
