Prominent Liberal Who Championed ‘Anti-Whiteness’ Found Dead At 41

Jason Arday, the former Cambridge University professor who resigned amid plagiarism and resume-padding allegations, was found dead in south London on Friday, according to a report.

The 41-year-old was discovered “unresponsive” and pronounced dead at the scene, the UK Telegraph reported.

“Sadly, a 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by officers,” a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told the paper.

“At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious. The case is being investigated by officers from the Met’s Central South Command Unit. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Arday, who became the youngest Black professor in Cambridge’s history, resigned Aug. 5 as the prestigious university examined new information about his qualifications, career and honorary appointments. Prior to investigations into his background, Arday was propped up by many liberals as the “poster boy” for diversity and DEI initiatives at the UK’s premier universities.

The professor of sociology of education had also faced accusations that portions of his doctoral dissertation were plagiarized. He denied wrongdoing, and an investigation by Liverpool John Moores University, which awarded his doctorate, did not uphold the allegations, a decision many Britons found to be flawed.

However, new details came to light this summer, prompting Cambridge to launch its own investigation into the matter.

Arday also faced resume-padding allegations involving academic positions he was said to have held at other universities.

Jason Arday cited an “unrelenting level of public scrutiny” when announcing his resignation.
