Putin Claps Back at Schumer’s Ukraine Comments: “Don’t You Have Anything Better To Do?”
In a striking rebuke to Senator Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) recent remarks on the necessity of continued U.S. support for Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a sharp retort, questioning the focus of American foreign policy amidst domestic challenges.
Putin’s comments came during his interview with Tucker Carlson, where he directly addressed Schumer’s concerns about the potential for U.S. military involvement in Ukraine.
“I do not understand why American soldiers should fight in Ukraine,” Putin stated. “If somebody has the desire to send regular troops, that would certainly bring humanity to the brink of very serious global conflict. This is obvious.”
