‘Queers for Palestine’ Protesters Arrested in Florida
Florida police arrested three protesters on Saturday afternoon after they obstructed traffic on Interstate 4 near Walt Disney World. The women: 26-year-old Isabella Giannosa, 24-year-old My Truong, and 24-year-old Jenni Nguyen, were promptly taken into custody. They were transported to the Orange County Jail and charged with misdemeanor refusal to obey a police officer.
FOX 35 in Orlando reported that troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the scene to find three women holding “Free Palestine” signs while blocking the westbound lanes of Interstate 4 at Exit 67. Earlier Saturday, the Orlando Police Department (OPD) said two people were arrested during a demonstration at Lake Eola Park and are now facing charges related to battery on a law enforcement officer.
Approximately 1,200 participants attended what has been described as a “pro-Palestine” rally at Lake Eola Park. Officers resorted to deploying a “handheld chemical agent” to disperse a disruptive group, the department said.
Over the weekend the group, wearing keffiyehs, blocked the Disney exit of Interstate 4, accusing the company of supporting genocide. Frustrated drivers used the highway’s shoulder to bypass the blockade, and one motorist confronted the protesters.
“You are losing people to your cause because of this … Think a little bit. You are causing people to actually hate you,” he yelled.
On Friday, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution to enhance Palestine’s rights. The resolution also called on the Security Council to revisit Palestine’s application for membership, following a recent veto of a similar measure. The vote concluded with 143 in favor and 9 against, with both the U.S. and Israel opposing the resolution.

“Go f–k yourself. Forty-five thousand people dead,” a protester retorted, calling him a “genocide sympathizer.”
A Fox News reporter said police arrived within 11 minutes of the blockade and arrested three protesters.

It's like the unpopular kids who no one wanted to hang out with have now found a way to torment others.
It appears there was good reason to avoid them.
