Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Humiliated After Hilariously Dumb Rant About The Moon
In an unprecedented display of astronomical acumen, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) took to the podium to illuminate the intricacies of lunar science, in a manner that makes one question how certain people get elected into office in the first place.
Following Monday’s solar eclipse, Jackson Lee took it upon herself to shed light on humanity’s potential habitation of the moon. “Sometimes you need to take the opportunity just to come out and see a full moon is that complete rounded circle, which is made up mostly of gases.” These gases, she pondered, could be the key to unlocking the moon’s real estate potential.
“And that’s why the question, the question is why, or how, could we as humans live on the moon? Are the gases such that we could do that?”
Jackson Lee’s speech then took a fiery detour. “The sun is a mighty powerful heat that is almost impossible to go near the sun,” she stated, a fact that astronomers have come to respect. Yet, it was the moon’s comparative temperance that captured her fascination. “The moon is more manageable,” she assured her audience, promising that in a couple of years, “you’ll see that NASA is going back to the moon.”

Scary part is this woman votes on laws and policies that shape the way America is governed by the government.

And we expect them to be able to accurately define what a woman is according to science….
