REPORT: Minnesota Assassin Blamed Tim Walz For Rampage In Letter To Kash Patel
Vance Boelter, the suspect accused of killing a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband and shooting two others, wrote a letter in which he blamed Gov. Tim Walz for the shooting rampage he carried out, according to several sources.
Individuals with direct knowledge of the investigation into the shootings confirmed with Alpha News that Boelter’s confession letter was supposed to be sent to FBI Director Kash Patel.
The letter, written by Boelter’s own hand, was found by police inside the Buick he bought mere hours after he shot state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, and killed Minnesota Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her spouse, Mark.
After executing the largest manhunt in state history, Boelter was taken into custody close to his home in Green Isle, Minnesota. He’s been charged with the murder of Hortman and her husband and the attempted murder of Hoffman and his wife, both of whom are recovering from their wounds.
The handwritten note that was found confirms that Boelter was the shooter involved in the incident. Charges also indicate the suspect bought the vehicle for $900 from an individual he was not familiar with at a bus stop in the northern part of Minneapolis.
Boelter caught a ride with the man to a U.S. Bank location where he drained his account, withdrawing $2,200. A surveillance camera recorded Boelter sporting a cowboy hat.
“Boelter rented a room in north Minneapolis but also had a home in Green Isle. Several sources have confirmed that Boelter apparently made the one-hour trip—from north Minneapolis to Green Isle—to retrieve a large sum of money that was hidden somewhere in his residence. However, Boelter never made it back inside and law enforcement had already recovered the money,” Alpha News reported.
Examining the shooter’s “hit list,” it was found that Walz’s name was not on it, a fact that’s been confirmed by the outlet.
Walz took an opportunity this week to call for a more civilized public discourse in the country, despite his own recent comments in which he referred to ICE agents as President Donald Trump’s “Gestapo.” He has also encouraged Democrats to “bully the s**t out of” the president.
Many conservative pundits have long pointed toward the emotionally-charged rhetoric of the left toward President Trump and the shaming of his supporters as the main culprit behind rising tensions across the country. Some have gone so far as to say it’s led to an unsafe environment for civic discourse.
