Pennsylvania Trump Supporters Receive Threatening Letters: ‘We Know Where You Live’

Several Trump supporters in the Philadelphia area have reportedly received anonymous letters threatening violence in the days leading up to the 2024 election, according to a report from The Post Millennial.

“Dear neighbor,” begin the printed, threatening letters complete with a fraudulent Trump letterhead. It then warns readers not to vote for Donald Trump or J.D. Vance before listing a number of outright threats. “We know where you live, you are in the data base,” the writer claims.

The letter initially claims to be a “quick note of thanks for being engaged in the election and for your participation in the process,” before the writer states they are “writing with a concern about the level of political violence in the country during this election year as well as the threats to our democracy and freedoms.”

It then asks the reader to “take a close look at the truth, facts and the future for a better America where we can all live in harmony together.”

After the brief introduction, the letter devolves into an unhinged and threatening tirade aimed at former President Trump and his supporters. “Your candidate is a felon, rapist, desecrator, an immoral flawed man,” the letter continues before referencing the January 6 Capitol protests. “By supporting him you are declaring your public support for a disregard of the law, civil discourse and unity. You are indicating your hatred for minorities, immigrants, foreigners, women, education, the rights of your fellow citizens, the rights of women to make decisions over their own healthcare needs.”

The letter was shared with The Post Millennial by one of the recipients, a Penn Valley Trump supporter who identified herself only as Janet.

The recipient of the letter told the outlet that she has Trump signs displayed on her lawn. She also filed a report with the Lower Merion Police Department and was reportedly told that another household had received the same letter.

An additional source told The Post Millennial that several additional houses — all of which has Trump signs displayed on their lawns — have received the letter.

“However,” the letter continues, “this is a reminder that your visible support comes with a price and at a cost. There will be consequences.”

“Should your candidate win, the consequences will be staggering. The country will continue to be divided, the economy will falter and a recession will be accelerated, the deficit ballooned. The majority will live under the rule of a minority. Government will be in my business, the business of my family, the deficit will grow. The rich will get richer and judging by your house you don’t qualify for rich, as much as you think you may.”

The letter goes on to explicitly threaten political violence for supporting former President Trump. “We know where you live, you are in the data base. In the dead of a cold winters night, this year, or next and beyond, there is no knowing what will happen. Your property, your family may be impacted, your cat may get shot. And more.”

“Your vote for this guy is seen as treading on my rights. You tread on me at your peril, motherf*cker. We look forward to visiting in the future,” the letter concludes.
