REPORT: Taylor Swift ‘In Hiding’ While Dealing With ‘Personal Crises’
Taylor Swift is keeping a low profile lately, and insiders say it’s not just about taking a break from the spotlight. According to multiple outlets, the pop superstar is quietly working through a series of private challenges and has been leaning heavily on boyfriend Travis Kelce for support during this time.
While fans speculate Swift has taken a step back to spend more time with loved ones, those close to her suggest something deeper is going on behind the scenes.
Sources told DailyMail that Swift is managing several “personal” issues in private, including fallout from a high-profile legal feud involving her former best friend Blake Lively and actor-director Justin Baldoni. Swift’s name has repeatedly surfaced in court documents, putting her in the uncomfortable position of being connected to a bitter legal battle she reportedly wants no part in.
“Travis is Taylor’s rock, and he will do anything and everything he needs to do to keep her safe,” one insider shared with Blast. “She is the number one priority in his life right now.”
The feud between Lively and Baldoni stems from their work together on the upcoming film It Ends With Us. In late 2024, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment during the film’s production, including allegations of inappropriate behavior and retaliation. She filed both a formal complaint with California authorities and a federal lawsuit.

Baldoni has denied the allegations and responded with a staggering $400 million lawsuit of his own, naming Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist. He’s accusing them of defamation, extortion, and attempting to destroy his career.
Caught in the crossfire is Swift, who has reportedly been trying to distance herself from the situation. “There’s no truth that this has hurt their relationship,” an insider close to the pair told Us Weekly. “They are still close friends.”

Another source confirmed to Us Weekly that Swift “wasn’t happy with being brought into the legal mess.”
While she may be stepping away from the Lively-Baldoni drama, Swift isn’t turning her back on longtime friend Jaime King. The two became close in the early 2010s, and their bond deepened when Swift was named godmother to King’s son, Leo Thames, in 2015.
King recently lost custody of her children to ex-husband Kyle Newman amid claims tied to substance abuse. Despite the turmoil, insiders say Swift is staying loyal.
“[Swift] will always honor and cherish her commitment to being a godmother to Jaime’s son Leo, and any suggestions that she has ditched Jaime or Leo is false,” an insider told Blast. One source added, “Taylor has not been personally afflicted by the disease of addiction, luckily. But she has had many people who she cares about in her life who are and who have been.” They emphasized: “[Swift] has never walked away from anyone because of this.”
Despite their strong bond, it appears Swift and Kelce are taking time away from their usual social scene, including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.
“[Swift and Kelce] aren’t hanging out with Patrick and Brittany right now,” one source revealed. “The two couples aren’t avoiding each other because of any tension, they just have other priorities right now,” the source said. “Travis and Taylor will get their friend and family fix in no time, but right now, it’s all about the relationship.”
