Former President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign reported a fundraising haul of $76 million in April, campaign officials told donors on Saturday.

Trump campaign officials unveiled the haul, which was up from $65.6 million in March, during a private Trump campaign and Republican National Committee-hosted donor retreat, a person familiar with the matter told Politico. The campaign did not provide additional details on the haul, which will be revealed in filings the end of the month.

The fundraising figures were announced during a one-hour presentation from top Trump campaign officials, including Susie Wiles, Chris LaCivita and Tony Fabrizio. The Biden has yet to provide any information on its April fundraising totals.

During the presentation, Trump’s team expressed confidence in their position heading into the final six months of the race. Campaign officials pointed to a number of polls that have former President Trump leading in a number of key swing states, including Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Michigan.

The campaign also discussed a private meeting it had with a group of outside Trump-aligned organizations on Friday. Trump’s team is looking to collaborate with a number of conservative organizations, including Turning Point USA, on canvassing initiatives.

While Trump has experienced a boost in fundraising since clinching the Republican nomination, he still faces a significant cash deficit when compared with President Biden. According to recent filings, Biden has almost doubled Trump’s fundraising haul as of this point in the race.

The majority of President Biden’s campaign donations have come from big money donors.

According to FEC records, 35 percent of Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign donations have come from big donors, or contributions greater than $2,000. Just 38 percent of the president’s current campaign donations have come from small donors, or contributions valued between $1 and $200.

As for the Trump campaign, 61 percent of campaign funds have come from small donors while just nine percent have come from big donors. Between 2020 and 2024, President Biden’s total donations from big donors have increased by 10 percentage points, while the former president’s numbers have decreased by the same margin.
