NEW: Paramount Owner’s Agenda Exposed After Latest Woke Show Sparks Controversy
For decades, Star Trek gave Americans a vision of the “final frontier” and inspired fans to “go boldly” where none had gone before. It wasn’t just science fiction; it drove curiosity and courage among viewers that transcended politics.
But Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Paramount’s latest update to one of America’s most iconic franchises, has instead infuriated fans by going down the black hole of woke Hollywood slop.
The U.S. is back in space, with a Space Force and a renewed push to the moon. Starfleet Academy could have captured that spirit, but Paramount used it in a way that feels less like an adventure and more like a woke classroom.
Scenes that could’ve shown courage instead pause the story to emphasize an agenda. Even longtime fans noticed the shift, arguing that the plot has been sacrificed to satisfy the woke mob.
Check out the post below from an account that calls out the “woke agenda” as a prime example:

Stephen Miller, a top Trump adviser, has publicly criticized the show, adding validity to a broader conservative backlash. On social media, the complaints are consistent: viewers didn’t tune in to be virtue-signaled; they tuned in to be entertained.
The true reasoning behind the message to go woke actually lies with the “captain” of Paramount itself.
Starfleet Academy was produced under the watch of Paramount CEO David Ellison, whose tenure has coincided with a clear ideological tilt across the company’s major franchises.
This approach hasn’t been limited to Star Trek. It’s spread throughout Paramount and Skydance, and now Ellison is attempting a hostile takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, a move that may place more of America’s media under his influence.
David Ellison has described himself as “socially liberal” and, in 2024 alone, donated nearly $1 million to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democratic state parties nationwide.
Larry Ellison, David’s father, spent millions trying to block Donald Trump’s nomination in 2016 and tens of millions more attempting to do so again in 2024.
Ellison’s content decisions follow the same ideological timeline. He reportedly played a key role in Paramount’s $1.5 billion deal securing South Park streaming rights, even as the show leaned into some of the most aggressive anti-Trump satire on television, depicting Trump in bed with Satan and mocking the MAGA base. Ellison defended the deal anyway.
At the same time, Paramount elevated familiar Trump critics, including Jon Stewart, whose return to The Daily Show came under Ellison’s leadership.

For fans who remember Star Trek as a story about exploration rather than indoctrination, the message is becoming increasingly clear: this franchise didn’t drift off course; it was steered there.
This didn’t happen overnight. For years, Paramount and Skydance openly embraced DEI initiatives, LGBTQ+ mandates, and progressive hiring frameworks.
Some might remember the “non-binary” Transformer character that was used to indoctrinate kids on pronouns, or the animated Star Trek series that made it its goal to present an “inclusive universe.”
Despite a public “pivot” to appear conservative, Paramount’s internal messaging shows the ideological direction remained unchanged, with the company boasting of expanded LGBTQ+ representation, aggressive DEI hiring, activist partnerships, and higher ups reviewing scripts for “inclusive language.”
Across major franchises, themes of systemic oppression and identity politics increasingly take priority over authentic entertainment that once defined their success.
Even President Trump has not been swayed by Paramount’s attempts to reposition itself politically. Despite outreach from CBS News, Trump said 60 Minutes treated him “far worse” under Ellison’s leadership than ever before.
“If they are my friends, I’d hate to see my enemies!” Trump wrote, brushing off the outreach.
The Ellisons are now pursuing control of Warner Bros. Discovery, a move that would expand their influence across CBS, Paramount+, CNN, HBO, and Warner Bros. Studios.
Such consolidation would place significant cultural power under a single family with a clearly documented ideological orientation, giving one worldview broad influence across news, film, television, and streaming.
Conservatives are being urged to look past cosmetic messaging changes.
Yet the Ellisons’ record shows blatant support for woke content priorities, DEI initiatives, and Democratic political causes. Expanding their media control would further narrow the range of viewpoints represented in mainstream entertainment.
For audiences who value entertainment free from woke indoctrination, the implications are significant.
