Rumors Of Barack Obama’s Alleged Affair With Hollywood Superstar Resurface

Recent disappearing acts by former first lady Michelle Obama have led to the recirculation of rumors that there might be more than meets the eye to her absence from Jimmy Carter’s funeral. What was simply a “scheduling conflict,” as her office stated, may actually be lingering resentment related to rumors that her husband romantically absconded with one of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.

Insiders close to Michelle haven’t been shy about talking on background with intrepid reporters eager to know why she blew off Carter’s funeral as well as the upcoming inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump. According to those closest to her, it’s no secret that the former first lady will always refuse to “be fake” — including if it means putting on a happy face and showing the country that its politicians are united toward a peaceful transition of power.

“She’s always been very deliberate about where and how she shows up. She showed up reluctantly for the election. They were united, but she doesn’t have to unify around [Trump]. Her absence speaks volumes,” the source previously said.

A spokesperson offered up a bland excuse for missing Carter’s funeral, a break from past tradition which left many observers wondering if Michelle could ever stand to be in a room with Trump again. “Mrs Obama sends her thoughts and prayers to the Carter family, and everyone who loved and learned from the remarkable former President,” an aide said in a statement.

But according to a U.S. gossip magazine, there may be more to it than that.

To celebrate their 32nd anniversary, former President Barack Obama shared a photo on social media of himself hugging Michelle. “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner and friend to go through life with,” the 44th president wrote. Michelle replied, “32 action-packed years with my honey! Through it all, thank you for always having my back, being by my side, and finding ways to make me smile. I love you, @Barack Obama.”

Social media sleuths aren’t convinced, however. In previous interviews, Michelle had spoken candidly about how tough her mothering years were when her husband was still finding his footing in the sharp-elbowed world of Chicago’s Democratic politics.

“People think I’m being catty – it’s like, there were ten years where I couldn’t stand my husband,” she said previously, according to the Daily Mail.

Obama has alluded to marital difficulties as well. “Let me just say this: it sure helps to be out of the White House and to have a little more time with her,” he told CBS in 2023.

But in October, a gossip outlet focused on Hollywood lifestyles reportedly scooped that President Obama had a scandalous swing with “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston, adding that Michelle felt “betrayed” by his infidelity.

The news was immediately shot down by Aniston, who told a US TV station, “I’ve met him once. I know Michelle more than him.”

This isn’t the Obamas’ first sign of trouble at home. In 2017, the former president’s biographer spoke with Sheila Miyoshi Jager, an ex-girlfriend who admitted to continuing to date Obama one or two years after he met Michelle. “I always felt bad about it,” Jager told author David Garrow.

In 2013, the National Enquirer published an article claiming that Secret Service agents were helping to scrub Obama’s certain indiscretions from Michelle’s view. The “endless fighting” followed a trip made by Obama to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela.

While there, he took a photograph with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt, a stunning blonde, a move which reportedly set Michelle off.
