Scott Jennings Unloads On ‘Brain Rotted’ Dems After Shocking Hunter Pardon, Liberal Panelist Explodes
Conservative political analyst Scott Jennings unloaded on Democrats defending President Joe Biden’s bombshell decision to pardon his son Hunter on Sunday, declaring “brain rotted” party faithful are bending over backwards to defend a move that they likely would have impeached President-elect Donald Trump for if he had done the same.
Appearing on CNN, Jennings told liberal panelists they can “spend all day long” trying to rationalize how Hunter’s felony conviction is “somehow Trump’s fault,” but at the end of the day the Justice Department insisted that its decision to prosecute the embattled first son was free from political meddling. “This is the worst possible thing a president could possibly do to his party and to the country,” he added.

Biden, who aggressively insisted for most of the past year that he would not pardon his son, went much further than precedent in pardoning Hunter for felony tax evasion and gun charges, immunizing him for a period of 11 years rather than pointedly singling out particular actions or circumstances. The decision is a break with precedent such as President Bill Clinton’s decision to pardon his brother-in-law on drug crimes or even the pardoning of Richard Nixon which was not so vast in scope. In contrast, Biden’s legal defense of his son amounts to a tarnishing of the pardon system and one that Trump’s critics say will embolden him to seek similar pardons if they would benefit family members in the future.
“The rule of law is sacred. We have to respect the justice system. Juries, we have to respect juries. We have to respect the guardrails and the norms of our democracy. These people are liars,” Jennings declared, emphasizing each word of the sentence and comparing Biden’s lie about not pardoning his son to others, like when he declared inflation “transitory” and Afghanistan “secure.” Jennings followed with more — “Biden has a cold, he’ll never drop out” — replaying a reel of half-truths or falsehoods told from the lectern of the White House briefing room that diminished Americans’ belief in what they were being told by the president and his team.
“It is all a lie, it is all a grift. Every American except the most partisan, brain-rotted people are going to be outraged by this today,” Jennings continued. “You think 38, 39 percent job approval is bad? Just you wait, just you wait. He’s a disgrace today, a disgrace. Outrageous.”
WATCH:
While not quite in the eleventh hour of his presidency, Biden will serve in the shadow of his decision until Trump’s inauguration on January 20th, giving Republicans plenty of time to reprimand the incumbent as they work to secure leverage in a rebalanced Washington where they will control all arms of the federal government. A slew of Trump’s allies, including Speaker Mike Johnson, piled on. “President Biden insisted many times he would never pardon his own son for his serious crimes. But last night he suddenly granted a “Full and Unconditional Pardon” for any and all offenses that Hunter committed for more than a decade!” he wrote on X Monday morning.
