WATCH: Secret Service Clobbers Man Rushing Ivanka Trump During Night Out
First daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, were out for a night on the town when a man appeared to rush the couple, prompting Secret Service agents to intervene as they were whisked away to safety.
Video of the harrowing incident showed the daughter of President Donald Trump walking to her car with Jared after being out on the town in South Beach, Florida, on Sunday night. Susan Crabree, a correspondent with RealClearPolitics, was at the scene and produced the exclusive recording.
A scraggly-dressed man could be seen rushing up to Ivanka before a Secret Service agent stiff-armed him and gave the power couple room to enter their awaiting vehicle. It’s unclear whether the unhinged man was friend or foe, but he nevertheless engaged in an angry scuffle with the agent, grabbing at his arm as he tried to make his way around the blockade.
In response, the agent gave him a hard shove back, Crabtree wrote in a post on X.
“A Secret Service agent wasn’t taking any chances last night. It appears that the agent believed a man got too close to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump as they were leaving an event in South Beach and aggressively pushed him away,” the reporter said in a post sharing the video.
“The man then complained and appeared to grab the agent. Some Secret Service agents say this is an example of an agent getting too rough with the public, and a possible indication of worktime stress as many USSS agent details are continuing to be stretched thin with long hours, including on VP Vance’s detail,” she added.
“Yet, such an aggressive push may not be that uncommon. I, too, have been pushed forcefully aside when I thought I was minding my own business. I was up in the hall near the press gallery — and the USSS agents were clearing the way for First Lady Michelle Obama to come through before a SOTU. I was shaken up a little, but understood that the agents are on high alert on nights like those,” the reporter said.
“I’m also used to getting pushed and shoved from very aggressive photographers, cameramen and women on Capitol Hill and at the White House, so I sort of view it as a cost of doing business in D.C. journalism,” she said.

The clip, spotted by Conservative Brief, is further proof that presidential family members are not insulated from the passions that instill love and hate in some of the more unstable minds of the public. The trials of Hunter Biden, including his drug addiction and multiple criminal trials, virtually ensured that a phalanx of paparazzi followed him wherever he went.
Ivanka and Jared each declared at the start of her father’s second administration that they would not be taking public-facing roles, a turnabout from their earlier time in the White House.
“I love my father very much. This time around I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” Ivanka said in early 2022, shortly after her father announced his third run for the White House.
Together, the couple shares three children and has prioritized their family life in Florida, though as this scary episode shows, that’s easier said than done.
