Nancy Pelosi, 84, is making headlines again. A peculiar video of the longtime California congresswoman has caused a whirlwind of speculation, with some questioning her state of mind.

In the video posted on Pelosi’s official social media account, the former Speaker of the House appears groggy and struggles to keep her eyes fully open. “Hi, it’s Nancy,” she begins, in a monotone delivery that has left many viewers scratching their heads. “I’m on my way to Washington to proudly represent the people of San Francisco in Congress.”

While Pelosi assured followers she’s ready to “share San Francisco values” in D.C., many on social media were quick to point out her unusual demeanor. Some suggested she might still be under the influence of medication following a reported hip replacement surgery in Germany last month.

Pelosi recently underwent a successful hip replacement at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany after sustaining her injury in Luxembourg. She suffered a fall during an official trip to Luxembourg in mid-December.

Others took aim at her pledge to bring “San Francisco values” to Washington. “We don’t need San Francisco values in DC! We need MAGA values!” one commenter exclaimed. Another added, “What are ‘San Francisco values’? Robbing, looting, and camping on the street?”

“We need term limits and mandatory drug tests on Capitol Hill immediately,” wrote one social media user, echoing the frustrations of many Americans.
