Eric Swalwell Brutally Roasted After Being Fact-Checked By Twitter

In the latest news from Capitol Hill, Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is hilariously facing criticism and fact-checks after making inaccurate claims about former President Donald Trump.

Swalwell, who is known for his outspoken criticism of conservatives, recently took to Twitter to attack Trump and House Leader Kevin McCarthy.

In his tweet, he claimed that Trump had been “convicted of sexual assault” and that McCarthy was “all in with his sexually abusive pal.”

However, these claims have been deemed factually inaccurate by a number of sources, including Twitter itself.

According to fact-checkers, Trump has not been convicted of sexual assault, as conviction is a term that only applies to criminal courts. In civil litigation, Trump was found liable, but no determination of guilt was made by the jury.

The fact that Swalwell made such an inaccurate statement is not surprising, given his history of hyperbolic rhetoric and partisan attacks. Unfortunately, it seems that many on the left are willing to overlook Swalwell’s misstatements in order to score political points.
