“The Architect of America’s Demise”: Rob Schmitt Sounds Off on George Soros

Rob Schmitt of Newsmax utterly thrashed leftist financier and backer of radical “causes” George Soros during a recent broadcast of his show, blasting the aging bankster as being the “architect of America’s demise.”

That came when Schmitt was discussing the horrifying environment facing American police officers, focusing on the hate directed their way by the anti-police left.

Beginning his takedown of Soros and the mindset many allege Soros has funded and inculcated, Schmitt described that anti-police attitude and the pro-criminal stance of many on the left, saying:

“Welcome to being a cop in 2022. This is a situation, especially in America’s big blue cities, and we all know why it’s happening. The subsection of society that is criminal no longer fear the consequences of their action.”

Continuing on, he described what that leftist mindset is doing to America and expressed surprise at the idea that even the utter destruction of America hasn’t dissuaded them from continuing on their present path, saying:

“The left believes criminals can be reformed through kindness and capitulation, it’s an ideology of pure naive virtue that’s turning this country into a hellhole.

“Many of us thought that the utter destruction of American quality of life would end this nonsense, that we’d see the light, a light bulb would suddenly light up over the heads of the bleeding hearts that are destroying this country in the name of equity. It’s not happening.”

It was then that Schmitt got to the main target of his attack: George Soros. Ripping that leftist apart, Schmitt used a recent op-ed that Soros wrote as an avenue of attack against him, saying:

“On Sunday, George Soros, the architect of America’s demise, wrote in an op ed, ‘Some politicians and pundits have tried to blame recent spikes in crime on the policies of reform-minded prosecutors. The research I’ve seen says otherwise.

“The most rigorous academic study analyzing data across 35 jurisdictions shows no connection between the election of reform-minded prosecutors and local crime rates.’

“Now Soros never names that study for obvious reasons, but we found it and, of course, as you might suspect, it was paid for by a leftist, Mark Zuckerberg. The study was created by the Public Safety Lab at NYU, on their website, in bold letters, it screams at you, ‘PROSECUTORIAL REFORM INITIATIVE,’ so you know you’re not really getting an unbiased study right off the bat.”

Yet they’re using that study they paid for to continue pushing for the continuation of their soft on crime policies and the prosecutors that go along with them, of course.

America can’t be America if it’s overrun by criminal elements of the sort Soros seems intent on setting free and leaving alone as they prey on the populace. Free enterprise needs stability and enforcement of the laws to prosper.

Unfortunately, as Schmitt notes, those like George Soros are working to destroy that and are thus sending us hurtling along the tracks to the demise of our once great nation.
