‘The View’ Host Alyssa Farah Griffin Embarrasses Herself With Ridiculous Take On Trump
Alyssa Farah Griffin, a host on “The View” and former Trump administration aide, has taken to X to share her latest take on the political landscape, particularly regarding former President Donald Trump’s potential in the upcoming 2024 election.
Griffin, who claims a deep-rooted history in conservative movements and GOP politics, boldly asserted that an unprecedented number of lifelong Republicans are now staunchly against supporting Trump under any circumstances.
Her thread began with a reflection on her conservative upbringing and career, discussing her disbelief at the sheer volume of Republicans, including those who have served GOP lawmakers, think tanks, and political action committees (PACs), who have now allegedly turned their backs on Trump.
Thread 🧵:
I grew up in the conservative movement & spent my career in GOP politics. I’ve NEVER known of so many lifelong Republicans who under no circumstances will support Trump.
These are people who worked for GOP lawmakers, at Right of Center think tanks, & PACs

Griffin went on to predict a devastating loss for Trump in the popular vote, speculating that he would lose by the largest margin in modern history due to the overwhelming opposition he faces.
But, but, but… we know the election will come down the Electoral count in ~7 swing states, based on the votes of ~500,000 people.
Biden has significant weaknesses & democratic apathy, low turnout, or smart campaigning by Trump could easily hand the election to Trump.

However, Griffin’s analysis appears to be more wishful thinking than an accurate prediction of political tides. Her assertion seems to overlook the significant and enduring base of support that Trump continues to enjoy, not to mention his knack for defying polls and expectations, evident in past elections.
While she acknowledged the critical role of the Electoral College and swing states in determining the election outcome, her confidence in Trump’s defeat seemed prematurely placed.
Griffin also pointed out potential weaknesses in Joe Biden’s campaign, including democratic apathy, low turnout, and the possibility of Trump’s strategic campaigning turning the tide in crucial swing states.
A national survey conducted by Marquette Law School revealed that Trump is leading with 51% of registered voters, while Biden garnered the support of 49%. When focusing on likely voters, Trump’s lead slightly extends to 52%, leaving Biden with 48%.
Other polls paint a similar picture.
New polling data unveiled on Thursday that Trump appears to be outpacing Biden in hypothetical one-on-one matchups in swing states Arizona and Nevada. According to a survey conducted by Emerson College Polling in collaboration with The Hill, 46 percent of Arizona voters expressed their support for Trump over Biden, who received backing from 43 percent of those surveyed.
The same survey also shed light on the political landscape in Nevada, showing Trump with a 6-point advantage over Biden. In the state, 46 percent of voters are in favor of Trump, while 40 percent support Biden.
When the scenario includes independent candidates, Trump’s lead over Biden expands significantly. In Arizona, his advantage increases from 3 points to 6 points. Meanwhile, in Nevada, Trump’s lead widens from 6 points to an even more substantial 10 points.
