‘Tread Very Carefully’: Pam Bondi Sends Ominous Warning To ‘Squad’ Democrat
Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a warning to Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), after Crockett participated in a rally opposing Tesla and its owner, Elon Musk.
Speaking on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Bondi cautioned Crockett, saying, “She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this.”
The remarks came amid growing tensions over demonstrations planned against Tesla, including calls for economic boycotts and protests at Tesla locations nationwide. “On March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down,” Crockett said.
“I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE Oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.”
In response, Bondi sought to frame such opposition as potentially hazardous. Her comments have been interpreted as a message that the Trump administration would not tolerate disruptions to Tesla’s operations, particularly those that veer into illegal territory.
“People need to know that the three people in custody right now… will receive severe and swift consequences… We are not coming off these charges. We are looking at everything, especially if this is a concerted effort. This is domestic terrorism,” Bondi told Fox News.
The tension over Musk and Tesla has already resulted in legal action. Bondi announced last week that the Department of Justice was pursuing charges against individuals accused of damaging Tesla properties.
Some protests have escalated beyond demonstrations. Bondi described instances in which Tesla vehicles and charging stations were allegedly set on fire with Molotov cocktails, calling the acts “domestic terrorism.” She added that those charged could face sentences ranging from five to 20 years in prison.

Meanwhile, Crockett has not been linked to any criminal activity, and she has maintained that the protests she supports remain peaceful. “We know that we are peaceful, loving people, and this is not about violence,” Crockett said during the stream.
In a press release Thursday, Bondi announced criminal charges against three individuals accused of carrying out coordinated attacks on Tesla dealerships and charging stations using Molotov cocktails.
“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi said. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

Law enforcement officials say the crimes were politically motivated, citing the suspects’ opposition to Musk’s role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Protest groups, including the so-called “Tesla Takedown” movement, have organized boycotts and demonstrations, some of which have escalated into violent acts.
Recent attacks have included incidents in Las Vegas, Nevada, where several Tesla vehicles were set on fire outside a service center, with “RESIST” spray-painted on the building; Seattle, Washington, where four Cybertrucks were torched in a dealership lot; and Tigard, Oregon, where gunfire damaged a Tesla showroom.
