Trump Family Launches Alternative To Woke Cell Phone Providers: ‘Trump Mobile’

The Trump family brand launched its latest venture on Monday: a mobile phone carrier that is set to compete with some of the biggest names in telecommunications.

The new business, named Trump Mobile, was announced by sons Donald Trump, Jr. and Eric Trump on the 10th anniversary of their father’s first campaign for president, when he announced from Trump Tower in New York City.

Trump, Jr. said that his family had felt for a while that the telecommunications industry is an area where there has been “lackluster performance” for some time, citing the expensive prices of adequate calling plans and describing an “underserved” market of Trump supporters who he claims are open to switching.

With Trump Mobile, the oldest son of President Donald Trump said, “We’re going to be introducing an entire package of products.”

Those will include receiving “telemedicine on their phones for one flat monthly fee, roadside assistance for their cars,” and “unlimited texting for 100 countries around the world.”

“We think we’re going to be giving something unique to the American people,” he told The Hill.

With President Trump back in office, his children have become the leaders of the Trump Organization, a sprawling entity rooted in real estate that has launched ventures into social media and cryptocurrency in recent years. Trump has previously said he would withdraw from his business empire to avoid a conflict of interest while serving in government.

In a media release, Trump Mobile touted its leveraging of all major phone carrier networks and teased its flagship offering, the 47 Plan, for $47.45 per month, a price point that reflects Trump’s stature as both the 45th and 47th president.

“Trump Mobile is going to change the game, we’re building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service,” Trump Jr. said in a press statement. “Our company is based right here in the United States because we know it’s what our customers want and deserve.”

In August, the company said it expects to release a “TI Phone,” billed as a “sleek, gold smartphone engineered for performance and proudly designed and built in the United States for customers who expect the best from their mobile carrier.”

Gold, of course, is Trump’s favorite color and adorns most of the Oval Office.

Although Trump Mobile, like other family ventures, will be managed by his children, the president is sure to face more criticism from critics who have called on him to fully divest from the Trump Organization and its subsidiaries.

Trump, who has refused to do so, has seen his personal net worth swell by billions of dollars as a result of the ventures.

Truth Social, the social media platform launched by Trump, briefly added more than $4 billion to the president’s net worth after it went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Most recently, he reported more than $600 million in income, with most of that related to his $1 billion crypto empire.
