Trump Gets Last Laugh As Taylor Swift Reportedly Plans ‘Diss Track’ Against POTUS

Taylor Swift is rubbing her ratings in the face of President Donald Trump — but it may be the latter who gets the last laugh.

Swifties flocked to a new YouTube episode of the “New Heights” sports podcast, where Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce surprised viewers with an appearance by his pop star girlfriend. The program teased that Swift would be showing up to tease the cover of her upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

While the show was still live-streaming, more than 1.3 million viewers tuned in — breaking the record previously set by Trump when he appeared on a pre-election episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

The stream was so popular that the YouTube stream briefly went offline after being unable to handle the sheer volume of traffic.

“Shoutout all the 92%ers and Swifties for actually helping us break the internet,” the show’s X account wrote after the episode had wrapped.

Kelce, the show’s co-host, noted the similarity of the 1.3 million viewers and Swift’s love for the number 13, writing, “1.3million views is the epitome of numerology.”

However, the Swift-stealing show didn’t appear to break Trump’s record when it comes to the first 24 hours of a new episode. Rogan’s interview with Trump managed to accumulate 26 million views in its first 24 hours on-air, compared to 9.5 million in the first 14 hours for the “New Heights” episode, the Daily Mail reported.

The rivalry between Trump and Swift is well-established and dates back to Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris in 2024. She was booed at the Super Bowl in February when she made an appearance to cheer on Kelce, a fact that Trump alluded to when he declared her “no longer hot.”

“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?'” his cryptic post read.

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” the 47th president wrote on Truth Social about watching the spectacle unfold in front of him.

Both quips came months after Trump stated he “was not a Taylor fan” and declared “she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

One insider close to Swift said her 12th studio album “isn’t a political record” but that the singer was “motivated by the excitement around Kamala last year, which is when she recorded some of the songs.”

“Taylor has a point to prove and is ready to silence people who said her career has ‘broke’ because she went ‘woke,'” the source said.

Both Swifties and MAGA members will be waiting to see what the pop star has to say about the president, teeing up what may become the biggest pop culture feud of 2025.
