A clip of former President Trump shaking hands with top podcast host and UFC announcer Joe Rogan has left fans clamoring to see the former president on Rogan’s podcast.
After Trump entered the arena for his surprise appearance at UFC 290 in Las Vegas, he shared a viral moment with Rogan as the two shook hands. The handshake lasted for about 20 seconds while the two had a cordial conversation, though it is unclear what was discussed.
The clip has since gone viral and left many to speculate whether Trump will finally make an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience.
Rogan has previously stated that he has no interest in hosting the former president on his podcast. “I have had the opportunity to have him on my show, more than once, and I have said no every time,” Rogan told Lex Fridman last year. “I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him.”
Rogan — who is known for having nuanced — views has also praised Trump on a number of occasions. He recently stated that the 2020 election was “for sure” rigged by the media through numerous false allegations directed at Trump and the censorship of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
“Even if it wasn’t rigged, even if we say that’s who won and that’s how it’s going to be, Biden won: for sure it was rigged by the media. For sure. Just the Hunter Biden laptop case and the Russia collusion case, just those two things. Just those two narratives that they knew were not true, that they pushed out in front of everybody, and that we know had to do with trying to get rid of Trump… It’s manipulation of a public narrative, manipulation of what people think is real and not real,” Rogan said.
