Trump opens ‘Office of the Former President’

Former President Donald Trump has opened a new office in Florida that has already grabbed people’s attention on social media. Trump’s new location was named the “Office of the Former President” and it’s where Trump’s latest announcements and plans will likely come from considering he’s banned on numerous social media platforms.

Trump plans to use this office as a way to carry out some of his “America First” tasks and help remain part of an activist culture that benefits Republicans going into future elections. This could be in the means of endorsements or help with fund raising.

The office will also be responsible for managing his correspondence, public statements, appearances, advocacy, and public activism – as stated in Trump’s official statement from the “Office of the Former President.” However, the logo appears to say something different with “The Office of Donald J. Trump.”

The statement says:

Today, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, formally opened the Office of the Former President. The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism.

Meanwhile, Trump’s second impeachment trial is set to begin in early February. current Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a longtime Trump foe, suggested the Senate impeachment trial would be fair and timely.

Trump also hinted at running for president again in 2024, but if he’s convicted in his second historic impeachment, that would eliminate his ability to run for president again.
