Trump SCORCHES Taylor Swift, Gives Hilarious Response To Her Kamala Endorsement On Fox
The morning after his first contentious debate against Kamala Harris, former President Donald Trump lashed out at Taylor Swift for her impulsive endorsement, calling it “just a question of time” before she publicly sided with the vice president.
A boost from the Swifties was inevitable, Trump told Fox News Tuesday afternoon, adding that he much prefers the wife of NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes. “Well I actually like, uh, Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan,” he told the hosts. “I was not actually a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time. You couldn’t possibly endorse Biden.”

Before dropping out, President Joe Biden’s campaign aggressively courted Swift, Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” in 2023 for her one-woman ability to juice regional economies during her two-year tour. Swift kept the unpopular 81-year-old at arm’s length, never going out on a limb while his approval ratings cratered. The decision to back Harris, who has done considerably better against Trump in the polls, was a no-brainer, Trump added. “You look at Biden and you couldn’t possibly endorse him. But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the market place.” He made another plug for Brittany Mahomes before leaving the Fox & Friends crew to dissect which endorsement will play a bigger role in November’s election.

Shortly after the 90-minute debate ended, Swift took to Instagram where she told her 283 million followers why she was getting behind the Democratic nominee. “I’m voting for [Harris] because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Despite their political differences, Swift and Brittany Mahomes don’t appear to have any bad blood. They were both seen during the Kansas City Chiefs’ opening game on Sunday where Swift was cheering on her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Both were photographed smiling and hugging together at last week’s U.S. Open in New York, NBC News reported. For the most part, both Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes have stifled their own thoughts about the presidential election.
Long before Swift made her endorsement on Tuesday, the battle lines around her discography were already drawn. A Morning Consult poll conducted last year found that the majority of her fans lean toward Democratic candidates; meanwhile, critics on the right have taken to picking apart some of her lyrics that whitewash slavery and racism from history or perhaps encourage the ideation of domestic violence. Those battles were renewed during the surprise release of her latest album earlier this year, “The Tortured Poets Department.” More recently, revelations by Kelce’s PR guru suggest the two may be feigning a “showmance” to benefit their careers.
