Trump Scorches Taylor Swift In Hilarious Truth Post: ‘Has Anyone Noticed’
The bad blood between Taylor Swift and President Donald Trump hasn’t subsided, as evidenced by one of his latest missives sent Friday morning.
The progressive singer is no longer “hot” since Trump trashed her last year, he wrote on Truth Social in comments that quickly zinged across the internet.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?'” his cryptic post reads.
The seeds of animosity between the president and pop star were planted following her first foray into political activism when she endorsed former President Joe Biden in the 2020 election, saying at the time that she regretted not doing the same for Hillary Clinton in 2016. She then endorsed Kamala Harris days before the 2024 election.
Swift said her endorsement came after Trump shared AI-generated images that appeared to suggest she was endorsing him.
The two most recently crossed paths at Super Bowl LIX in February, where Trump received a hero’s welcome from the crowd and Swift got booed while cheering on her beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Although she appeared to laugh off the negative reaction, Trump took full advantage of it the following morning.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” the 47th president wrote on Truth Social about the incident.
Within an hour, legions of Swifties and Trump haters joined forces to push back against his latest jab.
“Taylor Swift just wrapped up a two year world tour that broke every touring record in history and pulled in billions of dollars,” Yashar Ali wrote on X. A few followers reminded the liberal reporter that Trump was probably trolling him.
The two-year “Eras” tour by Swift concluded late last year and grossed more than $2 billion, a record sum that will likely see the 35-year-old take home more than half of that. However, her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released in 2024 to mixed reviews and claims that she was rushing to press its release in order to squeeze every last dollar out of her rabid fanbase.
It’s also fair to speculate whether Trump is throwing up the insult to distract from a busy budget week, where Republicans are under fire for proposed Medicaid cuts. Just weeks ago, he made waves with a similarly unexpected pronouncement that he would be directing the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to reopen Alcatraz, the infamous island prison off San Francisco, which has been shuttered for decades and since then has served as one of America’s most popular museums.
No matter the reason, fans of Trump are still here to stoke the feud. A MAGA pilot trolled Swift by flying a pro-Trump banner over one of her final concert appearances while Super Bowl viewers made viral memes about her game day outfit.
