“FREE AT LAST”; Trump’s Hilarious Reaction To Kellyanne Conway’s Divorce From “Wacko Husband” Is One For The Ages
Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to celebrate the news that Kellyanne Conway, the former Senior Counselor during his administration, was getting a divorce from her husband George, an anti-Trump Republican.
Trump called George Conway a “wacko husband” who was an “unattractive loser” that held back Kellyanne. During Trump’s administration, George Conway constantly attacked and criticized Trump and his wife’s work under him.
“Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her wacko husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway. Free at last, she has finally gotten rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck,” Trump said on Truth Social.
“She is a great person, and will now be free to lead the kind of life that she deserves…and it will be a great life without the extremely unattractive loser by her side,” the 45th president added.
On Friday, a New York Post publication reported the Conways would be getting a divorce after 22 years of marriage.
The drama between Trump and the Conways stems from 2016, when Kellyanne served as a campaign advisor and eventually a campaign manager for Trump. At the same time, her husband founded the Lincoln Project, an organization created to fight against Trump’s campaign.
When Trump won the 2016 election and appointed Kellyanne as a senior counselor to the administration, George continued to attack Trump on social media.
He once called the Trump administration, where his wife worked, “like a s***show in a dumpster fire.”
In her book released last year, “Here’s the Deal,” Kellyanne called George’s vocal, public attacks on Twitter “cheating by tweeting” and lamented the effects it had on their marriage.
“I had already said publicly what I’d said privately to George: that his daily deluge of insults-by-tweet against my boss — or, as he put it sometimes, ‘the people in the White House’ — violated our marriage vows to ‘love, honor, and cherish each other,” she wrote.
