Fox News Host Tucker Carlson has responded to Jennifer Lawrence, who recently claimed that he has been appearing in her nightmares. He gave his response on Tuesday as he ended his evening broadcast of “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence made this shocking revelation about Carlson in her recent Vogue cover interview.

Lawrence mentioned that she has been at loggerheads with her conservative family members who have lived in Kentucky over political issues for several years. She added that she was still trying hard to forgive them and be on good terms with them again, but it was not easy. She added that the court overturning Roe v. Wade recently brought up their disagreements again.

She said, “I just worked so hard in the last five years to forgive my dad and my family and try to understand: It’s different. The information they are getting is different. Their life is different. I’ve tried to get over it and I really can’t. I can’t. I’m sorry I’m just unleashing, but I can’t f*** with people who aren’t political anymore. You live in the United States of America. You have to be political. It’s too dire. Politics are killing people.”

In addition, the actress also mentioned that she had been seeking help from her therapist as she had been having recurring nightmares. The shocking part about this revelation was her mentioning that the news host has been featured in these nightmares.

This revelation immediately went viral and attracted a lot of criticism and satirical comments from people, the news host inclusive.

The humorous host said, “When you work in television, you lose control of a lot of things. So can it really be your fault, are you really responsible if major Hollywood starlets dream about you? Maybe it’s the sexy glasses. Who knows? We can only speculate.”

Carlson went further to give his fellow anchor Trace Gallagher the honor of giving the full report.

Gallager, who understood the assignment, said, “Just so you get the total dichotomy of this, Tucker, it’s important to note that while Jennifer Lawrence sees you in her head at night, you know, the nightmares when she sleeps, she is likely not watching you now. But her parents are probably watching because they’re fans.”

After quoting Lawrence’s interview, Gallagher further suggested that Lawrence’s nightmares may have begun when Carlson said in 2017 that she was suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

At the time, Donald Trump had just won the presidential election. The liberal actress commented, “It’s really hard … not to feel mother nature’s rage and wrath,” which attracted presumptions that she was saying that the hurricanes were a response to his victory.

Carlson concluded the segment by saying he is flattered that she dreams about him frequently. He said, “So she says she has nightmares about us, that’s what they’re calling it. Nightmares. We’re flattered. I think it’s the sexy glasses.”
