TV Star Falls To His Death From The 28th Floor

Israeli-American reality TV star Yakir Levi fell to his death from the 28th floor of a luxury Florida resort Monday night, according to reports.

Levi, 45, a married father of three, died after plunging from the Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach in Sunny Isles Beach.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded around 9:30 p.m. to reports that an adult man had fallen from the building, according to the Daily Mail.

He was declared dead at the scene, a Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s spokesperson told the outlet.

Levi is expected to be buried in Israel, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The Israeli-born businessman had appeared this past year on Israel’s Channel 13 program “The Americans,” a reality series following Israeli expats chasing and building the American dream in the U.S.

For Levi, that story was not some polished Hollywood script.

He was born in Ramla, Israel, and said on the show that he came to America with just $300 in his pocket before building a fortune through a business restoring buildings damaged by natural disasters.

His death stunned relatives, fans and members of the Israeli expat community who had watched him turn a long-shot immigrant story into a multimillion-dollar success.

“My dear precious brother. I entrust his soul to the Creator. May someone wake me up from this crazy nightmare,” a woman identified as Yevi’s sister posted on a Facebook tribute.

Levi’s final social media post showed him aboard a boat at night, holding a cigar and appearing relaxed just before the tragedy that would soon shock his family.

Authorities have not publicly said what led to the fall.

The case remains a grim mystery at one of South Florida’s most exclusive oceanfront properties, where luxury and tragedy collided in an instant.

Levi’s rise had been built on hustle, risk and old-fashioned grit, the kind of story immigrants used to tell proudly about America.

He came with almost nothing and made himself into a success.

Now, instead of another chapter in that American dream, his family is preparing to bring him home to Israel for burial.
