‘Two Shooters’: GOP Rep. Drops Bombshell Claim On JFK Assassination After Reviewing Documents

A stunning new claim has emerged in the ongoing investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, as Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) announced she believes there were “two gunmen” involved in the killing.

This comes amid a push for government transparency, with House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) appointing Luna to lead a newly formed task force dedicated to declassifying federal secrets.

The “Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets” will focus on long-sought-after files, including those related to the assassinations of President Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), COVID-19 origins, and the 9/11 attacks.

Luna made her assertion about the Kennedy assassination shortly after the FBI conveniently “discovered” 2,400 additional JFK-related files that had never been disclosed to the American public.

“Our first investigation will be announced, but it’s going to be covering on a thorough investigation into the John F. Kennedy assassination,” Luna told reporters. “I can tell you, based on what I’ve been seeing so far, the initial hearing that was actually held here in Congress was actually faulty in the single bullet theory.”

“I believe that there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we are able to gain access into the SCIF, hopefully, before the files are actually released to the public,” Luna said.

Chairman Comer formally announced the formation of the task force on Tuesday, stating that the group’s mission is to examine the declassification of materials that serve the public interest.

“For too long, the federal government has kept information of public interest classified and the American people are demanding greater transparency,” Comer said in a press release. “This secrecy has sowed distrust in our institutions.”

“The Task Force will build on the Trump Administration’s efforts to declassify records of national importance and ensure Americans get the answers they deserve. Representative Luna is committed to shining a light on the truth and ending the era of secrecy. It’s time to let the sunlight in and finally provide answers the American public has long demanded.”

Chairman Comer Taps Rep. Luna to Lead Task Force on Declassification and Transparency

The task force has been authorized for six months, with members to be announced at a later date. As one of its first actions, Comer and Luna sent 11 letters to various agencies requesting the declassification of critical documents.

The creation of the task force follows President Trump’s executive order mandating the full and complete release of records pertaining to the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and Dr. King. The order, issued on January 23, requires the Director of National Intelligence and the Attorney General, in coordination with the National Security Advisor and White House Counsel, to develop a plan within 15 days for the full release of JFK-related files.

A similar plan for the RFK and MLK assassinations must be prepared within 45 days.

Trump has long been an advocate for declassifying JFK assassination records. During his first term, he ordered the release of thousands of previously hidden documents but faced pushback from intelligence agencies, which cited national security concerns.
