Victorious Elon Musk Waltzes Into Twitter Headquarters Like A Boss In Mic Drop Moment Of The Decade

Well, folks, it looks like it’s actually, for really real happening. Billionaire and free speech proponent Elon Musk is taking over Twitter. It’s been a long, long road. There has been many legal battles, questionable numbers, and of course, lots of crying from liberals who want to maintain control of the social media platform as a means of silencing the voice of their opposition while also using it to spread their propaganda.

But in the end, Elon Musk is the one who is going to be calling the shots, and if things go the way we all hope they go, it means conservatives will finally be able to share the message of liberty, along with news stories that present an alternative view from the mainstream media, without worrying about being sent to the digital gulag.

Musk decided to take an opportunity to flex by posting up a video that featured him walking into Twitter headquarters carrying a sink, creating what might be one of the best mic drop moments of the this decade.

“Musk has made it a point to free Twitter users to be able to say what they wish to say without fear of censorship and release those who do not deserve shadowbans. Those who were banned from the platform for wrong-think will now have an open invitation to return,” RedState said.

“Moreover, Musk plans to lay off 75 percent of Twitter’s workforce. It sounds bad until you realize just how useless many of the employees are at the company. Many take off months at a time for vacation and some even do so for ‘mental health’ effectively getting paid a salary to do nothing,” the report continued.

And let’s not forget that many of these same employees about to be booted are the same ones who want to see conservatives and anyone else who is not in lockstep with the progressive agenda silenced. So, while it’s certainly not a bad thing to have compassion on a fellow American losing his or her job, don’t get too carried away.

Musk has stated for quite some time that he believes that Twitter is the “de facto town square” and it should be treated as such, noting that free speech is a central component of any healthy, free civilized society.

“He’s absolutely correct, and it’s far past time for the social media platform to become something more than what it is. To be sure, Musk has far more plans for the platform now that he controls it, but we’re going to have to wait and see what those plans are,” Brandon Morse of RedState wrote.

It’s going to be interesting to see just what kind of changes are made to the platform once Musk gets settled in his leadership position. Let’s hope he keeps his word and truly changes the company into a place where all can feel safe sharing their point of view and where news and information can be passed around in a timely manner without fear of being censored.
