A video clip of U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman’s comments made in Pennslyvania on Labor Day has been circulating all over social media. This clip has refueled the controversy surrounding his ability for office following his stroke earlier this year.

For most of the summer, the democrat senator repeatedly avoided the campaign trail. He has also avoided every opportunity to debate his republican opponent, U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.

During his Labor Day speech, Fetterman said, “Send me to Washington, D.C., to send–, so I can work with Senator Casey. And I can champion the union way of life–, in Jersey, excuse me in D.C. Thank you. Thank you very much. And it’s an honor–, I live eight minutes away from here. And when I leave tonight, I got three miles away, Dr. Oz in his mansion in New Jersey, you’ve got a friend and you have an ally. Send me to Washington, D.C.”

While giving his speech, he was seen struggling to form sentences, unlike before, and had less stamina to stand and complete his speech. This video clip drew more speculations about his health and fitness as he seemed not to be fully recovered from the stroke,

After seeing this clip, several people commented on Fetterman’s fitness via social media. Several comments were related to Fetterman’s purpose for recontesting for office with the medical condition when he should be planning his retirement instead.

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell was one of the people who commented on this clip. He said, “Fetterman had a stroke and absolutely cannot debate anyone. His staffers’ strategy is to hide him – and fake it to put one over on the people of Pennsylvania.”

Kurt Schlichter also commented, saying it was obvious that Fetterman was not fully recovered, calling him a “wreck.”

Following the recent trendy clip, people started to dig out other clips of Fetterman, which have also all gone viral. Clips of the Senator speaking in public before his stroke was dug out. More clips of Fetterman publicly speaking after the stroke have also gone viral. The difference between these clips was evident, as all clips recorded after his attack this year showed him having a hard time while speaking.

Considering his medical condition, Fetterman is only allowed to run for office again as the Democratic candidate because the democrats and liberal media have painted him as the most authentic person. Like Grenell noted, his “staffers” strategy is likely to hide him and use him to hold onto that seat for the next few years, knowing fully well that he would not be functional in that position.

Ben Shapiro’s previous commentary on the senator has been recalled following this new development.

Shapiro said, “He’s authentic, don’t you know? Authentic, you see, means you wear Dickies, and your aides tweet snarky things about your opponents,” Shapiro said. “Most of all, according to the media, authentic means you are radically unsuccessful. You are a giant loser — like a giant who is a loser, and also a giant loser.”

He went ahead to describe the senator as a professionally useless person, and with Fetterman running again with his current state, it seems like Shapiro was precisely spot on.
