WATCH: Applause Erupts After Senator’s Powerful Endorsement Of RFK

The Senate floor erupted in applause as Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) delivered a resounding endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). On Wednesday, Marshall made a compelling case for Kennedy’s leadership, invoking both faith and purpose in his statement.

“60% of Americans have a chronic disease. Mr. Kennedy, I believe for such a time as this that you’re not just one of 300 million people,” Marshall said. “I think that you are the person to lead HHS to make America healthy again. That God has a divine purpose for you.”

“I look forward to your confirmation in working with you to make America healthy again.” His remarks were met with an outpouring of applause from those in attendance, signaling a strong show of support from key Republican lawmakers and allies who view Kennedy as the right man for the job.

“Thank you, Senator,” Kennedy replied.

The powerful moment came after Kennedy arrived for his first Senate confirmation hearing, greeted by an enthusiastic reception. Despite bipartisan controversy surrounding his appointment, Trump’s decision to tap Kennedy reflects a broader effort to shake up the entrenched bureaucracy at HHS, which has come under heavy criticism in recent years for its handling of public health crises and medical policy.

Kennedy, a longtime advocate for medical freedom and government accountability, has repeatedly emphasized the need for a more transparent and responsive HHS. His nomination is seen as a direct challenge to the status quo in Washington, particularly in the wake of public discontent over health policies enacted in recent years.

However, Democrats wasted no time in launching their attacks, attempting to cast doubt on Kennedy’s fitness for the role. They raised concerns over his positions on vaccine mandates, pharmaceutical regulation, and government transparency.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), known for her grandstanding and self-righteous tirades, took her theatrics to a new level during Kennedy Jr.’s confirmation hearing on Wednesday.

Things reached a fever pitch when she aggressively demanded that Kennedy pledge not to sue pharmaceutical companies, a demand he refused to entertain.

“Senator, you’re asking me not to sue vaccine companies,” Kennedy stated plainly.

Warren, clearly not used to being challenged, lost her composure. “No, I am not!” she shrieked, her voice cracking as she leaned into the microphone. Then came her most absurd claim yet: According to Warren, Kennedy is plotting to destroy vaccines entirely and profit from it.

“Look, no one should be fooled here,” Warren ranted. “As Secretary of HHS, Robert Kennedy will have the power to undercut vaccines and vaccine manufacturing across our country. Kennedy can kill off access to vaccines and make millions of dollars while he does it. Kids might die, but Robert Kennedy can keep cashing in.”

With confirmation hearings underway, Kennedy’s path to leading HHS will likely be met with fierce resistance from Senate Democrats and establishment figures.
