WATCH: Barron Trump’s Voice Is Finally Revealed In Behind-The-Scenes Clip

The youngest member of the Trump dynasty sure sounds a lot like his older man.

Producers of an upcoming documentary on President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign have been quietly releasing behind-the-scenes snippets of their interactions with the presidential family, with one in particular capturing the internet’s attention on Wednesday. A 17-second clip from “Art of the Surge” reveals the voice of former First Son Barron Trump as he greets UFC CEO Dana White during a stop with his dad. “Very nice to see you, sir,” Barron says to a member of White’s entourage as they shake hands.

The former president stands behind and off to the side of his son, beaming with praise. “I gave him a shout-out last night, and the place went crazy,” Trump recalled about one of his countless campaign stops this year. “Barron! Barron!” he cheered, imitating the crowd’s enthusiasm for his 18-year-old prodigy. White listens on before leaning in to shake the young man’s hand. Barron thanks the longtime Trump supporter for welcoming him and his father to the event.

President-elect Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump have been especially protective of Barron, and the clip appears to be the first time that the public has heard him speak at all. The 6’9″ college freshman, much like his father, exudes confidence, delivering a firm handshake accompanied by a dulcet greeting that carries the common touch Trump is known for during in-person meetings.

Now at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Barron has shied away from taking a larger role on campus, according to multiple media outlets tracking the fast-rising star in the Trump family. He socializes with others mainly through online video games, with one fellow student telling TMZ “he hardly exists” as he strides to class or hops into a waiting SUV all while surrounded by Secret Service agents. And although the telegenic offspring of the most iconic president in modern history won’t be hosting parties anytime soon, he’s built a reputation as a “chill” student on campus who is especially friendly with anyone who crosses his path.

Many observers are waiting to see whether Barron will take part in the family businesses of politics and real estate, or forge his own future somewhere else. He made sporadic appearances on the trail with his father during the year and appeared at the Republican National Convention to cheer Trump on just days after he narrowly avoided an assassination attempt. Melania has closely guarded her youngest child against prying reporters and mentored him through the process of college applications before he settled on NYU, a campus that keeps him close to the family pad and away from the palace intrigue of Washington, D.C.

To be sure, Barron has a future in politics should he choose it. Following the election, longtime Democratic donor John Morgan publicly ripped his party for coronating Vice President Kamala Harris and gave a nod to Barron’s shrewd political instincts. “What the Harris campaign should have done instead of avoiding Joe Rogan and podcasts, it turns out that Barron Trump, who looks like a runway model, was telling his father, you need to go on podcasts, you need to go on Joe Rogan,” Morgan told Fox News in late November. “You know, he was three hours late to a rally because he was doing Joe Rogan because that was so important. So Barron Trump is a lot smarter than everybody in the Harris [campaign].”
